CASY has been offering a counselling service in Newark at the Unique Coffee Bar, Connexions and other youth venues for eight years. Since October 2000 we have extended the service into schools and community venues in Ollerton and Boughton, Balderton, Southwell, Rainworth, Retford, Worksop, Tuxford, South Leverton, Clarborough, Harworth and Bircotes, Horncastle and Lincoln as well as continuing our service in Newark.

For four years we were funded to work in partnership with Mansfield Counselling Service (now the Sherwood Community Counselling Service) on the 2GETHER project, providing counselling to young people living within the Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood and Bassetlaw Districts of North Nottinghamshire.

CASY has been financially supported this year by Connexions, Lloyds TSB, BBC Children in Need, Local Network Fund and Nottinghamshire Children’s Fund.
