Counselling Services

We have over 20 years experience working within communities and supporting schools. We supply a counselling service offered under a range of contract options to meet your needs.

There are two basic contract types:

  • Full Year: This is a 38 week counselling service
  • Bespoke: This provides one counsellor for one hour per week on a six session basis

Workshops and Training

We can also provide a range of workshops aimed at either the students or the teaching and support staff. For students we run workshops based around listening, communication and emotional decision making skills. For teaching and support staff we have a wide variety of workshops that can be tailored to your school’s specific needs.

About our Counsellors

All CASY counsellors undergo:

  • Full DBS checks
  • Safeguarding training
  • Monthly clinical supervision in line with BACP codes of ethics
  • Peer supervision
  • Performance management for volunteer counsellors
  • Ongoing training and skills development

All counsellors and volunteer counsellors we place are, as a minimum, in their final stages of training and CASY is an affiliated member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

We will also meet with you to discuss the contract and provide contract evaluation and outcome reports.

Training within Schools

All our workshops can be tailored to meet the training needs and desired outcomes of the young people and staff within your school. We can also deliver workshops to parents of the young people in your school on a range of topics aimed at increasing their understanding of emotional health in their children.
